Sen.Enrile on Trillanes calling China and PRD "communists": What were you doing in there in your trips during the last admin?
De La Salle University's prominent professor of Political Science Antonio Contreras issued a statement rebutting the claims of Senator Antonio Trillanes III.
Trillanes reacted to President Rodrigo Duterte cutting ties with the United States by saying that the president's actions and words resemble that of a communist, which also means that he might be one.
Contreras, known for his statements regarding political issues, posted on his Facebook page debunking Trillanes' words.
He said the senator must be reminded of two things: "China has become a state monopoly capitalist society, and has become the principal lender (with interest) to many countries including the bastion of capitalism, the good old USA" he wrote.

He also reminded Trillanes of the senator's own trips to China.
"What was he then doing making those trips to China during the past administration if not dealing with these so-called communists?" Contreras wrote.
